A New Creation In Christ

 2-19-2023

I woke up asking the LORD why so much suffering among His People.
He immediately showed me a caterpillar and what it has to go through to become a butterfly.
He showed me the caterpillar represented the person that has accepted Christ Jesus but is still in its old state of living in the flesh, and in the ways of the world, crawling on its belly because it is earth bound.
But He showed me His Plan for us which is to go through a great change, and become a NEW CREATION in Christ!  It takes, obeying the LORD; surrendering our flesh, and old ways, and dying to all we know and going into a dark cocoon, and WAITING...WAITING...WAITING...for the new transformation into the LIFE OF CHRIST!!
Even when we awake in our new appearance, we still have a great struggle to break-through in order to "overcome" the things that are binding us.  We cannot become the full new Creation until all reminders of this old bondage is broken off of us, and we can come forth with our new body and life, and begin to learn to fly in the Spirit!
This all takes time, surrender to the processes of God, and strength to endure till the end.
1 Cor 1:26-31
6 Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things — and the things that are not — to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God — that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.   31 Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."
NIV
2 Cor 5:17-18
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
