Saturday

Hello Friends,

I will have to say this was the hottest FALL day I can remember, since yesterday was the first day of Fall!  I think it has been hot in most states, but here it was in the low 90's and even though it is almost 8:30pm it is still 82 outside.  Whoa!  I will miss these temps when it is 32 degree outside!  But I will never complain because I have good air conditioning and electricity, that I know many people don't have.  I am thinking of all the Islands especially that have no electricity.  Let's keep praying for them to be able to restore their power quicker than they think.

Got up early this morning for the grandkids soccer games.  Since Joan's church has a women's breakfast planned this morning, I helped out with the kids at the soccer field.  It was lots of fun, and again, I had brought 3 umbrellas which helped tremendously shield myself and some others from the hot sun.  And I still managed to get a sunburn!

I brought two of my granddaughters home with me for the day.  While they were playing video games or playing with toys I was working on my art at the dining room table.  Here is what I accomplished today.

Art Junk Journal

How I do my personal daily journal pages and then write out my days activities.

Finally, a plate of God's perfect art and creation!  It was YUMMY!

How was your day today?  Hot?  Any art for you today?  Reading?  Visiting?  Cleaning?  Hope to hear from you my Friends!

Hi Cathy, lovely work as always. You inspire me so much and I do plan sometime to get busy again with trying this... Your daughter looks beautiful and so glad you had fun with the kids. They are a delight... are they. Sunburn...wow even with an umbrella.

Aw, thank you my dear friend!! I thought Joan looked lovely today! So glad she had times out with her friends. I asked Don how in the world I got so red today when I was under and umbrella most the time. He thought it was when I was walking from one place to another. That just shows how strong the sun was today! I was laughing at my thoughts today. I called them sun umbrellas, and when it rains, they are rain umbrellas! Just thankful for big, golf umbrellas! Hugs!!

Hi Cathy,

I so like your cards. I can't say I understand the Life one but I like it. The bunny was my favorite this time.

Time with the grand kids is always a blessing, I know. Joan looks cool and very lovely in that dress.

The orange looks juicy and I see you used the 'good' china just like we do.

I was in Fostoria for a train show today. I was tired and went out in a friends van to take a nap. It was hot but there was a breeze and I was so tired I doubt that it mattered, because I slept. Oh, I can imagine that your sunburn hurts. Take care.

I'm really tired tonight so I will sleep well.
Hugs

Hi Jan! Sorry you have gotten so tired today. Probably between the activity and this heat, it would drain you! Hope you sleep well tonight!

The picture represents speaking up for life! As in for Life and not abortions.

Hope the train show was nice! Were these trains for sale, or trains set up for display and working?

Thanks for sharing your day with me! Hugs!

Hi Cathy, just dropping in to see what you are up to these days.

Your life picture speaks volumes to me! Are you still creating?

Thanks for dropping by Jerralea's Journey and for your prayers for my brother-in-law. It turns out he has a rare kidney disease and will be on dialysis from now on. He does look much improved and seems in good spirits. Please continue to pray as he adjusts to his new normal.

Good Morning Jerralea! It was very nice hearing from you! I like that life picture also. Our mouth speaks either life or death, and speaks for either life or death! Thanks~

Happy to hear your brother in law is in better spirits. LORD, You love us, and we ask for healing and restoration for Jerralea's brother in law! Restore each cell in his body, and breath Your Holy Spirit in his life! Bring about Your Life and Truth and Testimony in His life this very hour! In Jesus Name~ Amen! Hugs!

Thanks for the prayer, Cathy! My brother-in-law got to go home yesterday. He was so happy!

Again, I appreciate your kind comments on your recent visits to the Journey. Your comment about devotional writing was kind of a confirmation to me. Thanks!

Praise Our LORD Jerralea for your BIL going home yesterday!!! I pray he will continue onto a complete healing. The doctors may say one thing, but our LORD LOVES to surprise us and restore us to health and strength! I have a prayer request for my cousin's son in law Travis.

Travis is in his 20's and had an extremely serious surgery the end of Dec 2017 and has been in the hospital since then except for a few days. He has a very rare and serious complication that is causing him life threatening condition. His abdomen keeps filling with fluid, and they just took 11 pounds off his abdomen. Travis is married with 2 very small sons. Please pray for a complete healing.
Thank you!

Yes with the devotions! Write what the LORD gives. In 2003 the LORD gave me this writing, inspiration and instructions:

"My Voice speaks.
LISTEN - Record!
My Spirit will teach you -
to teach others -
that/what I will bring to you.

Do not seek out what is not
brought to you!

Do not reach out and take what I have not given -
I have given what I Reveal to you - In My WORD!

Hugs and Happy Valentine's Day!
